Join the APAC section (NSW region) for a valuable presentation for Brewers & Distillers covering compliance, standards and practical solutions. Following the talk there will be an opportunity to socialise with beers and light canapes and tour the brewery.

James Ludford-Brooks, (Senior Process Associate at BECA) is a process engineering manager with 25 years’ experience in delivering sustainable hygienic process engineering solutions from concept to completion. He is an industry leader in hygienic process engineering design & management with key focus in Brewing and Distilling.

James' presentation will give attendees a greater understanding of Dangerous goods handling issues, legislation and good practise codes, with practical examples to consider when designing, modifying or upgrading spaces and equipment that handle dangerous goods.

Drawn from brewing and distilling examples, the talk will cover high level aspects including tank design, bunding, spacing and ventilation, and considerations regarding when additional fire protection might be required.
