Gosnells Meadery The gradual migration of millennial creatives to Peckham, South London has reinvigorated the local food and drink culture. Driven by cheap rents (for London) and industrial premises the diverse community has become a hive of activity. Not just craft brewers, but chocolatiers, sake distillers, coffee roasters, sour-dough specialists and London’s only meadery.
Brewing in the Mourne Mountains

I wrote recently about a brewery on the southern fringes of the hauntingly beautiful Carlingford Lough, in the jurisdiction of the Republic of Ireland. Right on the other side of the Lough we find an entirely different jurisdiction, within the UK, with different accents, a different currency, but an entirely similar tradition. A tradition based on the notion of “Living with the Border”.
