Dublin gold - The Alltech Craft Brews and Food Fair

The annual Alltech Craft Fair came along at the usual time of the year, from the 8th to the 10th of March, right in the middle of the Six Nations Rugby Tournament! As usual the Irish Rugby Union had kindly organised a game which could be displayed on the giant TV screens at the fair. This year it was to be Scotland versus Ireland, a match which Ireland won as it strode to a stunning overall Grand Slam in 2018.
Glenmorangie re-visited - Developments on the Dornoch Firth

My fi rst 2018 distillery visit in Scotland takes me 190 miles due north up the A9 on a beautiful late February afternoon, through the highlands via Perth, Aviemore and Inverness – to my overnight destination of Dornoch – lying on the north shore of the Dornoch Firth. The snow-covered mountains to the west and east of the A9 are a stark reminder of how quickly the weather can change in this area.

Explore the Past to Discover Our Future. The 35th IBD Asia Pacific Convention was held in Wellington New Zealand from 19th to 23rd of March 2018 and exceeded all expectations. So much of what happened in the technical sessions really embraced the conference theme of ‘Explore the Past to Discover Our Future’.
