The ICBR is an invitation-only event that brings together the craft brewing industry from Southern East Europe and this year was the first roundtable organised after COVID.

The event brought together representatives from 27 craft breweries from Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey and Albania and also suppliers, universities and taprooms.

The weekend involved two days of presentations, brewery tours, discussions and sharing of beer and it coincided with the Vergina Beer Run.

Suzanna presented on the IBD's range of online and on-demand brewing courses, which are available globally.

We are very grateful to Mr Christos Dimtsoudis (CEO of the Macedonian Thrace Brewery), Mr Dimitri Politopoulos (Founder of Macedonian Thrace Brewery), Mrs Marina Koutsogianni (Organiser of the ICBR) and their team for the invitation, for such a stimulating and educational event and for the amazing hospitality shown to the participants.
