Annual Beer Battle - 9 Jan 2025

Come along to a fun and social brew day to promote section networking for early career IBD members and IBD Brewing exam candidates!

The group will be making a cask beer guided by Round Corner Brewing Head Brewer, Lara Lopes, and her staff. During the day there will be some hands on experience and opportunities for technical discussions around the process and its control.

The cask beer will also be judged at the Midland Section Dinner 2025 against a beer brewed in competition by another group of early career brewers. The winning team will recieve an engraved commemorative glass tankard!

Safety shoes required.

How To Get There:

• Melton Mowbray Station is a short walk from the brewery. Free car parking is available at the brewery premises – in the Market via Gate 8 on Nottingham Road (immediately South of Melton Fire Station)

Why You Should Attend:

• A chance to get stuck in on a full brew day and be part of making the winning beer for IBD Midland section dinner in January 2025.
• A chance for a detailed tour of Round Corner brewing and packaging operations.
• To benefit from the knowledge of  some very experienced brewers.

Tickets: FREE, including lunch. There are 8 places only so book early to avoid disappointment! Priority will be given to IBD members and early career brewers.
