Battle of the Breweries - Everards of Leicestershire Beer Hall and Brewery

A fun and social brew day to promote section networking for younger members. The beer will also be judged at the Midland Section Dinner against a beer brewed in competition at the MolsonCoors R&D brewery on 19^th January 2023.

The group will be making a 4.0% single hopped pale ale for the 2023 Section Dinner. Led by Head Brewer, Jon Elks, the team will help with every aspect of the brew. There will also be a chance to tour the new brewery and lunch will be provided in Everard’s Beer Hall next door where members may also wish to go for a beer afterwards.

Safety shoes are required.

• 15 min drive from Leicester Train station to brewery.

Why You Should Attend:

• A chance to get stuck in on a full brew day and be part of making the winning beer for IBD Midland section dinner in Feb 2023.
• For those less travelled a chance to see the workings of another brewery.
• Enjoy a sociable free meal and drink in the new beer hall.
