You are invited to take part in a technical tour to Ireland.
The itinerary, with base in Dublin, is being arranged by the Scottish Section to visit the following distilleries and breweries:
- Kilbeggan Distillery
- Tullamore Distillery
- Church of Oak Distillery
- Teeling Distillery
- Guinness Open Gate Brewery
- Roe & Co Distillery
- Whiplash Brewery
- Pearse Lyons Distillery
- Dublin Liberties Distillery
- Jamesons Dublin
The cost will be £400 per person and numbers will be limited to 20 allocated on a first-come basis.
Included in the £400 cost are all visits, tastings, lunches, coach transport, one evening meal and hotel accommodation in Dublin City for 2 nights.

- Get an insight at the Church of Oak Distillery into commissioning a brand new multi-grain distillery, at Tullamore D.E.W., consider the engineering challenges of building a store for 50,000 casks and expanding a distillery founded in 1826.
- Open up your mind at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery and begin dreaming in beer with experimental styles for the new age.
- See real-life opportunities for considering brewing and distillation ingredients, vatting profiles, flavour development, maturation and cask selection.

Flights to Dublin
The cost above does NOT include flights to/from Dublin and it is the attendee’s responsibility to make their own flight arrangements and to be at Dublin Airport for coach pick-up before 10:00 on 12th October 2022.
Please do NOT make your flight arrangements until your attendance is confirmed by the IBD Scottish Section Treasurer.
- Edinburgh flights to Dublin with Ryanair are currently £22.99 for the 08:05 landing at 09.05 in Dublin and £23.79 for the 22:00 hrs return.
- Glasgow flights to Dublin with Ryanair are currently £16.99 for the 08:45 landing at 09:40 in Dublin and £21.74 for the 20:30 hrs return
