Southern Section Annual General Meeting 2023

The IBD Southern Section invites you to attend the 2023 Southern Section Annual General Meeting, on 9 February 2023 at Hepworth Brewery, Billingshurst.

Please note that only IBD members are eligible to vote at the Annual General Meeting.

Andy Hepworth, founder and Chairman of Hepworth Brewery, will host the meeting.

Andy has been a Master Brewer for 44 years, formerly with Courage Brewery and King and Barnes prior to setting up Hepworth Brewery in Horsham, then designed new brewery at Chiltington and received planning permission in 2014.

The AGM will be followed by a brewery tour and drinks at the bar to finish.

Why You Should Attend:

1. Have your voice heard - help formalise the IBD Southern section members and committee structure
2. Explore Hepworths Brewery and view up-close their practical sustainable design choices
3. Networking and socialising with other members and guests

The tour:

The brewery has been ecologically designed with solar panels on the roof, the first beer source heatpump, rainwater capture, reed beds for waste water purification, towards a carbon neutral brewery.

Transport:

• Location best accessible by car or taxi.
  • Billingshurst Station, then Bus/Taxi to Pulborough.
• A shuttle can be arranged from and to Billingshurst Train station, which is on the main line from Victoria. Please email Andy Hepworth AHepworth@hepworthbrewery.co.uk by 4pm on 7 February if you require this.
