IBD Southern Section Annual Social: IBD HQ and Tower of London tour

Calling all IBD members - you are invited to the Southern section's annual social!

We will meet at the IBD headquarters at Curlew street to sample an Irish Stout from the Brew Day inspired by the Irish Study tour, then walk to the Tower of London for a bespoke tour including the Ceremony of the Keys and finishing the evening with drinks at their bar.

Schedule:

• 17:30 – Gather at IBD HQ (Curlew Street) for an Irish Stout tasting alongside a light buffet. Meet and mingle with fellow attendees, Southern section committee, and IBD staff.
• 19:00 – Leave Curlew Street and walk to the Tower of London for a tour. Arrive by 19:20.
• 20:30 - 21:30 – Refreshments and TOL charity raffle
• 21:30 - 22:10 – Ceremony of the Keys
• 22:10 - 22:30 – Final drink at the bar and departure. Please note that it is a cash bar so members will need to bring cash if they intend to buy a drink. First round will be kindly provided by the Southern section!

Dress code:

Dress code for the tour of the Tower of London is Lounge Suit and tie: smart, no jeans (e.g. jacket and tie, or suit).

How to get to IBD HQ:

• Tower Hill underground station and London Bridge station is a 10-15 minute walk to Curlew Street.

• Try an Irish Stout brewed by the apprentices brew day at Left Handed Giant
• Network and socialise with other members and IBD staff 

Tickets: 

• Free to members including light buffet at IBD HQ and first drink paid by section at the Tower of London
• Attendees must provide their IBD membership number (/Pnumber) in order to qualify for a ticket
• Please indicate any dietary requirements on the booking form
