Hop Walk, Microbrewery & Cider Mill Visit

The IBD Midland Section would like to invite its members to a Hop Walk, Microbrewery & Cider Mill Visit in Worcestershire.

The event will start with an informative tour of the hop yards led by Hop Grower Tom Spilsbury. During this tour, guests will be able to see the hops being processed and dried. 

Following the hop walk, Oldfields Tour Guide Geoff Thompson will take the group to visit Oldfields Cider Mill. There will be an opportunity to sample Oldfields Craft Cider made with apples grown from the farm's orchards.

Agenda:

11:00 - 12:30: Tour of the hop yards and hop kiln with commentary from Tom Spilsbury
12:30 – 13:30: Informal pizza lunch and viewing of Spilsbury & Jones Craft brewery
13:30 – 14:00: Transfer to Oldfields Farm
14:00 - 15:30: Tour of Oldfields Cider Mill operations

Please wear enclosed outdoor footwear and suitable clothing for the hop and orchard walks.

Local transport is not available.
