Brew Day and Social Networking Event

Brew Day:  08:00 BST -but no problem to arrive later- to 16:00 BST

Followed by

Social and Networking Event from 17:00 to 21:00 BST

Calling Younger IBD Great Northern Section Members

You are invited to participate in a Brew Day at Abbeydale Brewery followed by a social and networking event at Triple Point Brewery in Sheffield.

Brew Day

Attendees to the brew day will collaboratively decide upon a recipe and brew a beer to be launched at the IBD Great Northern Section dinner (the beer will also be widely available in cask and likely can too).

There are just 8 places available for Brew Day so reserve your place ASAP by Friday 13th August.

The Brew Day will be hosted by Jim Rangeley, Lead Brewer of the Funk Dungeon project at Abbeydale Brewery. (Although this Brew Day needs to be for a “clean” beer not destined for the Funk Dungeon!)  Although beer style is limited by the brew plan, details will be decided by the group. (You could also do a special dry-hopped or similar cask just for the dinner if desired!)

The Brew Day is a fantastic opportunity to have a look around the brewery, connect with peers and immerse yourself in the creative process.

Abbeydale Brewery is located a short taxi ride from Sheffield train station and is on a major bus route. No designated parking is available.

Social and Network Event including the option of a brewery tour.

After Brew Day, you can join a face to face event at Triple Point Brewery in Sheffield.  

The Social follows on from Young Members Brew Day but attendance at both is not compulsory!

This is a great networking opportunity to meet with fellow members and prospective members of the IBD in a social environment and fun event. Alex Barlow, Head Brewer at Triple Point Brewery will welcome you to an event held in a covered outdoor space.

Triple Point is centrally located in Sheffield city centre, just a short walk from the train station.

20 spaces initially (may be able to add more depending on demand). Reserve your place by Monday 6th September.
