Beer Recipe Development Experience and Brew Day in Leeds

The Great Northern Section are excited to invite brewers to a fun and social brew day organised byTom Edgeley, where the beer you help to make will  be tasted at the GNS Annual Dinner!

You will be brewing with Stuart Ross (Development Brewer, Kirkstall Brewery) on Kirkstall’s Development and Experimental brew kit.

Prior to the brew day, you will discuss with other brewers about the recipe so that you are ready to start brewing on the day. We will be setting up a group WhatsApp to facilitate collaboration between the attendees. Please let us know your preferred phone number in the registration form.

This event is aimed at individuals who are in the early stages of their career in brewing, but anyone who wants to get involved are welcome to attend.

At the end of the brew day, there is a social at the taproom - please join us!

Please wear:

• Sensible footwear – no high heels (Preferably safety shoes)
• Comfortable clothes – it’s a brew day, we’re going to be getting our hands dirty, rubbing hops, digging out spent grains

• Meet other brewers in the industry also in early career stage
• Learn some basic principles for recipe development.

20 Minute walk, 5 minute Taxi from Leeds Train Station.

Pay and display carpark opposite Brewery.

Tickets: includes lunch. 15 tickets maximum
