Annual Walk & Brewery Visits Kendal & Staveley in the Lake District

SATURDAY 11^th June to SUNDAY 12^th June 2022

The event is open to members, guests, partners, family, and friends, with walking that is easily accessible to all.

Come along for one or both days, make a weekend of it with a Saturday evening Brewery visit. Sunday will be a relatively easy walk, with another Brewery visit afterwards.

Saturday 11th June – Meet 09.45 BST for a prompt 10.00 start at Parish Church car park at 37 Kirkland, Kendal LA9 5AP (Bring packed lunch)

The walk is a circular 9-mile route that follows the River Kent before heading onto the scars to the west of Kendal.

Saturday 11th June – Meet at Bowness Bay Brewery, Aynam Road, Kendal LA9 7DE, at 18.00 BST for a Brewery Tour.

Following the tour, we will stay at this venue.

Sunday 12^th June – Meet 09.45 BST for a prompt 10.00 start at Staveley Mill Yard car park (at Back Lane), Staveley LA8 9LR.

The walk is a circular 4-mile route that takes in the woods around Staveley and the River Kent.

Following the walk, we will have a tour of Hawkshead Brewery at approx. 12.00 BST which is also located at Staveley Mill Yard.
