Are you eager to contribute to the creation of the beer that will be showcased at the IBD GNS Annual Dinner? Or perhaps you’re looking for a unique, hands-on brewing experience alongside industry peers? If so, we invite you to be part of an exciting Brew Day with Matt Buist and the team at Love Lane Brewery!

This event is open to individuals in the early stages of their brewing careers as well as anyone passionate about getting involved in the brewing process. Before the Brew Day, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow attendees on the recipe. Please share your mobile number during registration so we can keep you updated on the details.

Please wear sensible footwear, no high heels (preferably safety shoes) and suitable clothing as we are going to be getting our hands dirty, rubbing hops, digging out spent grains etc.

How to get there:

  • 22 Minute walk, 5 minute Taxi from Liverpool Lime Street Train Station.
  • Pay and display carpark – NCP Liverpool Kitchen Street next to the brewery.

  • Matt Buist – Senior Technical Brewer - Love Lane Brewery.
  • Derek Orford – Technical Sales Manager - Murphy and Son - Sharing his experience with water treatment.
  • Beth Eaton – Sales Manager North of England and Scotland at Charles Faram & Co Ltd - Discussing all things hops and the Charles Faram Hop Development program hops.
  • Jamie Ramshaw – UK Technical Sales Manager at Simpsons Malt Limited - Talk on quality malts from Simpsons malt.

    • 9:00 - 17:00 - With an oportunity to socialise after the event.
