Charles Davu - Diploma in Packaging Module 1 Tutor

Charles is an Engineer with experience in operations and project management in the food and beverages industry. He holds a Diploma in Packaging from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling, BEng Chemical Engineering, MEng in Manufacturing Systems and Operations Management, various certifications in packaging equipment operations and an Executive Master in Business Administration. 

Charles started his career with Delta Beverages Limited, Zimbabwe in 2011 as a graduate trainee, where he gained process knowledge on the brewing process, soft drinks manufacturing and packaging of beverages in RGB, NRGB and PET.

Over the span of his career, he has participated in various brewery projects from greenfield to brown fields projects with leading equipment suppliers, he has managed packaging operations for more than 12 years, where he has gained knowledge of the beverages supply chain from materials sourcing, beverages production, to product supply to the market. 

Currently, he is the Deputy Plant Director for Union Camerounaise de Brasseries a subsidiary of the Kadji Group, Cameroun. Charles is a member of the IBD and a certified online facilitator.

He is passionate about the beverage industry and talent development. Based in Douala, Cameroon, Charles enjoys playing chess and fishing in his spare time.
